Every movement has that one person whose presence feels like gravity – pulling people in, not by force, but by love. For Ignite, that’s Nini.
She doesn’t just walk into a room; she draws you in with her laughter, her warmth, and her heart.
If you’ve ever met her, you know it immediately – the way her presence feels both joyful and safe, like you’ve known her forever. She’s the oldest of 11 siblings, a University of Washington graduate, and once a flight attendant traveling the skies. Service has always been woven into her story. 
But she was still searching. Searching for something deeper.
Four years ago, she saw a post about Aliyah, stranded overnight in an airport on her way to an Ignite event in Oklahoma. In that moment, it clicked. Memories came rushing back — of being young, uncertain, yet held up because someone believed in her. That spark lit a fire. It was her turn now.
Since then, Nini has become one of Ignite’s most magnetic leaders. Not because she’s the loudest voice, but because she’s the one who listens. Really listens.
Students feel it. Mentors feel it. That’s why you’ll often find a circle of them around her at lunch, on breaks, or long after sessions end. They lean in, soaking up every word. They follow her online. They light up when she walks into the room. And without fail, someone always asks: “Where’s Nini?”
She didn’t wait for a title. She chose to lead with authenticity.
Not because of a position, but because she made people feel seen, heard, and believed in.
Now, as Ignite’s Marketing Director, she carries that same authenticity into every space – from buzzing school gyms to quiet Zoom calls. She doesn’t just represent Ignite. She embodies it. “There’s gotta be a pony in there somewhere.” For Nini, that pony shows up in the quiet victories – the shy student who finally speaks, the breakthrough that shifts a perspective, the laughter that makes space for connection.
