Frequently Asked Questions
Who can attend Leadership Camp?
Leadership Camp is open to all students, whether they already see themselves as leaders or are just beginning to find their voice. We welcome:
- Emerging leaders
- Peer mentors
- Student-athletes
- Clubs
- Summer programs
- & more
No prior experience is required, just a willingness to show up, participate, and grow.
Who leads the experience?
Ignite coaches and facilitators lead the camp, modeling engagement, connection, and leadership in action. Students don’t just participate, they practice leading in real time.
We also offer flexible, plug-and-play camp formats for schools and organizations who want to run their own experience, with access to Ignite resources and support.
What will students actually do at camp?
This is not a sit-and-listen experience. Students engage in hands-on activities, team challenges, small-group discussions, and real-world leadership scenarios. They practice communication, build relationships, and apply leadership skills in a way that feels real and relevant.
Do students need prior leadership experience?
Not at all. Leadership Camp is designed for students at every level. For those just getting started, it builds confidence and foundational leadership skills. For existing leaders, it provides robust training and real-world practice to strengthen their role, deepen their impact, and lead with greater purpose.
Can our school or organization run this on our own?
Yes. Ignite offers a turnkey, plug-and-play version of Leadership Camp with training, materials, and support so your team can confidently facilitate the experience on your own.
How long is the camp?
Leadership Camp can be delivered as a 1-day or 2-day experience, depending on your goals, schedule, and student group.
