There’s Gotta Be a Pony:

Aiden Sullivan — Courage in Motion

Aiden didn’t walk into Mentor Camp looking for a spotlight.

He was quiet. Respectful. A student athlete. A listener.

But someone saw something in him — a spark buried under the noise of high school life. And when the moment came to lead, he didn’t fake it. He looked down at his notes… then looked up — and led from the heart.

“If I was nervous, the students I was leading were probably even more nervous. That’s when I stopped trying to be perfect… and just tried to be real.”

As a first-year college intern, Aiden found himself leading student mentors from across the country. He didn’t shrink. He leaned in. By the end of camp, he was:

  • ✅ Leading sessions
  • ✅ Guiding transitions
  • ✅ Encouraging teammates
  • ✅ Coaching mentors he’d met just three days earlier

He didn’t wait for a title. He made a choice — to lead with authenticity.

Not because we gave him power… but because we gave him permission.

Aiden is heading to University of Michigan to study aerospace engineering.

He’s proof that when you slow down, listen, and lead from the heart — others will follow.

“It’s been an eye-opening summer to see how easy it is to connect with people and learn together, even though they live so far from home and have such different lives.”

There’s Gotta Be a Pony

For Aiden, it was hidden under nerves — and uncovered through courage.
